FAQs
What is Conversational Tranceformation™?
Conversational Tranceformation™, inspired by the work of Paul Norrish, is a gentle yet powerful approach to change that uses intentional conversation, focused attention, and metaphor to guide the mind into a naturally receptive, relaxed state—without the need for formal hypnosis.
It draws from neuroscience, narrative therapy, and co-regulation techniques to help clients—especially children and teens—feel safe, seen, and understood. This method bypasses resistance and defense mechanisms by using stories, curiosity, and reflective language to gently shift beliefs and perceptions that may be limiting growth or well-being.
Rather than “doing therapy to someone,” Conversational Tranceformation™ is about doing change with someone. It’s relational, intuitive, and responsive. Clients often feel like they’re simply having a meaningful conversation—yet walk away with insights, emotional release, and internal rewiring that lasts.
This approach is especially effective for those who are sensitive, skeptical of traditional therapy, or benefit more from subtle shifts than deep trance. It supports transformation through connection, co-regulation, and carefully crafted language that reaches the subconscious mind through conscious rapport.
Is change work safe for children?
Yes! This process is a gentle and child-friendly approach designed to work with the subconscious mind in a way that feels safe and natural. Sessions are structured to be age-appropriate, ensuring that children feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
What is RTT®?
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®), developed by world-renowned therapist Marisa Peer, combines the best of traditional psychotherapy techniques like Gestalt, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy, with hypnotherapy and mindfulness, to offer a powerful, evidence-based method for positive change.
RTT® is grounded in established psychological principles, offering a tailored approach to help clients transform deep-seated negative beliefs, habits, and emotions—often rooted in childhood and buried within the subconscious, impacting them unconsciously.
It is designed to directly access the subconscious mind to identify and understand the root causes of issues, providing individuals with the potential to change their thought patterns, end negative self-talk, and approach life positively, enabling transformative healing not just on a mental level, but on a physical and emotional one as well, allowing them to move forward.
How Does It Work?
RTT® works by first guiding the individual into a relaxed state of hypnosis, where the mind is more open and receptive to change. In this state, the therapist and client work together to uncover the underlying reasons for the client’s issues, challenges, or blockages.
Through a combination of therapeutic techniques, RTT® employs the foremost scientific principles of neuroplasticity to facilitate the formation of new neural pathways in the mind. In other words, it helps to reframe negative beliefs and patterns at the subconscious level, leading to profound, lasting changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Sessions can uncover hidden beliefs and past experiences that shape how you view the world, allowing you to rewrite your story from one of limitation to one of empowerment.
What kind of results can I expect?
While every journey is different, the results often reflect the level of commitment someone brings to the process. Change looks different for everyone, and may include things like:
- Greater emotional regulation and reduced anxiety.
- Increased self-confidence and self-worth.
- Improved focus and motivation.
- Stronger communication and self-expression skills.
- A sense of calm, clarity, and resilience when facing challenges.
How is RTT® different from other therapies?
RTT® sets itself apart from traditional therapies through a unique combination of strategies and principles, aimed at facilitating deep, transformative healing.
- Focus on Root Causes: RTT® sets itself apart by focusing on uncovering the root cause of a client’s issues, rather than just addressing symptoms or challenges, enabling clients to understand and transform their core beliefs and behaviors for profound life shifts.
- Approach to Change: RTT® goes beyond positive reinforcement, aiming to identify and alter the origins of unhelpful beliefs and behaviors through the principles of neuroplasticity, creating new neural pathways in the brain.
- Speed of Results: Unlike traditional therapies that may take years to see results, RTT® is designed to deliver lasting change within a minimal number of sessions, leveraging targeted approaches for rapid transformation.
What Should I Expect From Change Work?
RTT® and Conversational Tranceformation work is different from talk therapy. We’re aiming to uncover the root cause of what’s going on, it typically takes just one to three sessions to get to that powerful “Aha” moment where things really start to shift. I love this work because it creates lasting change—clients usually return only if a new issue surfaces, not because the same one is lingering. Think of it like peeling back layers of an onion; each layer brings new awareness and sometimes new challenges.
The program fee covers the change work itself—it’s not based on a set number of sessions, but on the transformational process we go through together. The fee includes up to 3 sessions, plus light coaching and follow up. That might include personalized resources, worksheets, or reflection exercises, along with my time as an accountability partner to help you integrate the changes. It’s not about clocking hours—it’s about the shift in perspective and real change.
Sessions are deeply personal and conducted in a safe, supportive virtual environment, ensuring comfort and confidentiality from any location. It’s normal to feel a range of emotions as you uncover and release past blockages, but many find the process incredibly freeing and empowering, often describing a sense of lightness and clarity post-session.
How is Conversational Tranceformation™ different from RTT®?
Both RTT® and Conversational Tranceformation™ are powerful tools for creating deep and lasting change—but they work in slightly different ways and suit different needs.
🌀 RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy) is a structured therapeutic method that uses guided hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, identify root causes of emotional blocks, and reframe them. It’s highly effective for uncovering and releasing deep-seated beliefs—especially those formed in childhood. Sessions often include regression, dialogue with the subconscious, and a personalized audio recording to reinforce the changes.
🗣️ Conversational Tranceformation™, on the other hand, uses metaphor, story, and reflective language to create change through focused, present-moment conversation. There’s no formal hypnosis or regression. Instead, it works through co-regulation, curiosity, and subconscious shifts that happen through safe, meaningful interaction. It’s especially well suited for children, teens, or adults who are more comfortable with a lighter, collaborative approach.
In essence:
- RTT® is deep, directive, and works well for clients ready to dive into subconscious reprogramming.
- Conversational Tranceformation™ is gentle, relational, and ideal for those who benefit from subtle, conversational shifts.
Both methods aim for the same outcome—lasting emotional freedom and clarity—but use different routes to get there. Depending on your goals, I may recommend one approach or a blend of both.
